Campaign: Mitsubishi Triton

Background

Mitsubishi is a Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. In 2011, Mitsubishi Motors was the sixth biggest Japanese automaker and the sixteenth biggest worldwide by production.

Strategy

Mitsubishi’s brief was to sell their brand new limited edition Mitsubishi Triton Phantom range exclusively in Malaysia, featuring several aesthetic enhancements for a “tough yet sinister look.”

Maxman TV was up for the challenge, offering to treat new customers to a ‘different’ driving experience at a car dealership, schooling potential customers that girls can drive! With Leona Chin (professional driver) showcasing what the Triton Phantom can do!

Results

Maxman TV’s video for Mitsubishi garnered 11 million local facebook viewers in Malaysia, and 17.5 million international viewers. Mitsubishi sold out the entire limited edition Mitsubishi Triton Phantom range after the release of this video.
